It's Tax Time — You May Want to File to Claim Some Tax Credits ($)!

Alarm clock and words: Tax time

It’s that time of year again: Tax season. For most filers, the deadline for 2023 tax returns is Monday, April 15, 2024.

Many people are required to file tax returns each year, while others choose to file in order to claim credits or other benefits — even for a past year!

You may qualify for free tax filing help. For example, there are tax-filing volunteers and programs for low- or moderate-income taxpayers and for seniors. Free help is available only until April 15.
