What is a Disaster Case Manager?
A Disaster Case Manager (DCM) helps people plan for and achieve realistic goals for recovery after a disaster. DCMs can help people impacted by Vermont’s July 2023 floods.
What does a DCM do?

Helps clients find services and resources they need to get back on their feet

Helps clients make a Recovery Plan

Relies on the client to play an active role in their own recovery

Monitors clients’ progress

Provides short-term support through the disaster recovery process.
