Responding to a Divorce, Civil Union Dissolution or Legal Separation
About the CourtFormPrep Program
The CourtFormPrep program can be used by a married person who wants to respond to a Complaint for divorce or a Complaint for legal separation. It can also be used by a partner responding to a Complaint to dissolve a civil union.
The program will produce all of the documents that you need to file your action except the income and expense affidavit (813A) and a property and asset affidavit (813B). You can get a copy of a blank 813A form and an 813B form on the Vermont Judiciary website. You can also use CourtFormPrep programs to fill out forms 813A and 813B.
Before you begin, you will need the following information:
- Complaint filed by your spouse or partner
You will need to review the information provided by your spouse or partner in their Complaint as you use this program.
