Notice Against Trespass

If you ask someone to stop coming into your home but the person keeps coming anyway, you can use a Notice Against Trespass to keep the person out.

Notice Against Trespass

To: (enter the name of the trespasser)

You are hereby notified by the person in lawful possession of these premises, (print your name), that I do not authorize you to enter these premises. If you enter these premises in violation of this notice you may be subject to arrest and prosecution pursuant to 13 VSA § 3705 as well as civil suit. 

A copy of this notice has been provided to the (print the name of your local police department) Police Department and the Vermont State Police.
