Legal Services Vermont and Vermont Legal Aid have lost some funding and we have fewer staff members. We had to change our callback policy to be able to manage a high work load with fewer people.

We cannot provide over-the-phone advice or callbacks for a list of selected legal areas. We share that list here on our website and on our voicemail message.

Luckily, we have an information-rich website at VTLawHelp.org. It gives detailed information on many legal topics, and it provides other helpful resources where necessary.

If you want to call us or fill out our online Legal Help Request form, be sure to consider the list that we share. It says that if you contact us about these selected legal areas, we cannot call you back.
